I don't play but I watch a lot of Twitch streams (i'm weird i know) and it really depends on the situation, how you approach someone, how they approach you, and how geared you and they are.

I'd LOVE to play but do not own a PC, nor could I afford one decent enough to run the game properly.

I do play State of Decay a lot on Xbox, which is like DAYZ but with zombies instead of unfriendly players being the ones always killing you.

I am trying not to give in to the fear, but sadly I am sick of getting rocked. After hours of searching for canned peaches and killing zeds, it is always awesome to take a pickaxe to the face of the first live person you see. haha?

Forgot to add; Being the Standalone, when you draw out your weapon and need it, you put it right back away...... uggg.

I played DayZ like 5 times before it was standalone. I never once ran into another person, even through apparently there were hundreds everywhere. Now they've abandoned the mod for and I don't know anyone that plays the standalone so I never bought it.
